Apple Pie Roll Ups

A taste of autumn in every bite. Cinnamon-spiced apple filling is tucked inside Atoria’s Whole Grain Lavash and baked until golden, then finished with a drizzle of sweet glaze. Handheld, cozy, and perfect for dessert or a snack with coffee.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3-4 Atoria's Family Bakery Whole Grain & Flax Lavash wraps
  • 2 apples (diced)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/8 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • Zest of 1/2 lemon
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp corn starch + 1/2 tsp water
  • 1-2 tbsps butter (melted)
  • Cinnamon sugar (1 cup sugar + 3 tbsp ground cinnamon)
  • Powdered sugar + water (for icing)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Peel apples and chop into small pieces.
  2. Combine apples with sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon zest, lemon juice, and cornstarch + water mixture. Cook 10–15 minutes until thickened; remove from heat.
  3. Lay out the Lavash wraps, add apple mixture, roll up, coat in melted butter, then roll in cinnamon sugar. Place on baking sheet.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway.
  5. Dip in icing (powdered sugar + water) and enjoy warm!
