Peppermint Lavash Bark

Peppermint Lavash Bark

All the peppermint chocolate magic of the holidays, with a crispy Lavash twist, sweet, festive, and irresistibly crunchy.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Atoria’s Family Bakery Whole Grain & Flax Lavash Wraps
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 12 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
  • Chopped peppermint, chopped walnuts, and festive sprinkles optional, and to taste"

DIRECTIONS

  1. Bake Lavash at 350F for 4-5 minutes until golden.
  2. Remove from oven and place the Lavash wraps on a parchment-lined pan, positioning them close together with edges touching.
  3. Melt butter and sugar in a medium size saucepan. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 6-10 minutes until lightly golden. Add the salt.
  4. Pour the heated mixture onto the Lavash wraps and spread quickly and as evenly as possible. Make sure to spread to the edges.
  5. Bake at 350F for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove pan from the oven and sprinkle on the chocolate chips. Once they have melted, carefully spread.
  7. Garnish with peppermint, walnuts and festive sprinkles. Refrigerate for an hour, then break into smaller pieces and enjoy!
