Air Fryer Turkey Burger Pita Pockets

Juicy air fryer turkey burgers are tucked into warm Atoria’s Traditional Pita pockets and layered with crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, and a cool, creamy cucumber-dill yogurt sauce. Each bite delivers Mediterranean-inspired flavor with savory feta, herbs, and perfectly tender turkey for a fresh, satisfying meal.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Atoria’s Family Bakery Traditional Pita pockets
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 container (16 ounces) plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup seeded and chopped cucumber 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried mint (optional)
  • 4 large lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato, sliced

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a medium bowl, stir together the Greek yogurt, chopped cucumber, dill, finely chopped onion, and mint if using. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, feta cheese, chopped onion, oregano, black pepper, and salt. Mix gently until just combined and form into four evenly sized burger patties.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F. Place two patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 14–16 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the burgers are cooked through. Repeat with the remaining patties.
  4. Warm the Pita pockets in the oven, air fryer, or on a skillet for 1–2 minutes until slightly toasted.
  5. Place a turkey burger inside each Pita pocket, add lettuce and tomato, and spoon the cucumber yogurt sauce on top. Serve immediately.
