Apple Pie Tacos

Apple Pie Tacos

Warm spiced apples, a buttery cinnamon-sugar crunch, and a drizzle of caramel come together in this cozy, crowd-pleasing dessert. Served in crisped Atoria’s Family Bakery Mini Traditional Naans, these Apple Pie Tacos are the perfect handheld treat for sharing.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 Atoria's Family Bakery Mini Traditional Naans
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp melted butter

For the Apple Pie Filling:

  • 3 large apples, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp caramel sauce

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush each Mini Naan with melted butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  3. Using an oven-safe mold or taco holder, bake the Mini Naans for 8-10 minutes, until golden and crispy.
  4. Meanwhile, melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Cook for about 5–7 minutes, until the apples soften.
  5. Stir in the cornstarch and water mixture, cooking until the filling thickens. Remove from heat and set aside.
  6. Once the Mini Naans have cooled, spoon the apple filling into each Mini Naan.
  7. Top with whipped cream and drizzle with caramel sauce.
  8. Serve immediately for a warm, gooey treat!
