INGREDIENTS
- 2 Atoria’s Family Bakery Whole Grain Pitas
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 medium carrot, grated
- 3 spring onions, chopped
- 1/3 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1-inch piece ginger, minced
- 1 tsp Chinese five-spice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp chili oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 400°F. In a large bowl, mix ground pork, grated carrot, chopped spring onions, chopped cilantro, minced ginger, Chinese five-spice, chili oil, soy sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Cut your Whole Grain Pitas in half to form pockets. Fill each with the pork mixture, pressing it flat to ensure even cooking.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat with a little oil. Cook stuffed pitas 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Sear the open side for 2 more minutes. Work in batches, placing cooked Whole Grain Pitas on a baking tray.
- Bake for 8 minutes or air-fry at 400°F for 5–6 minutes until fully cooked and crisp.
-
Serve warm with fresh cilantro and your favorite dumpling dipping sauce. Enjoy!
