INGREDIENTS
- 6 Atoria’s Family Bakery Traditional Lavash wraps
- 1/4 lb ground beef
- 1/4 lb ground Italian sausage
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 egg -3/4 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- dried parsley, to garnish
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Scramble beef and sausage in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in marinara, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Remove from heat.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, egg, garlic powder, and mozzarella.
- Working with one Lavash wrap at a time, cut in half lengthwise. Place one piece horizontally on a parchment-lined pan, then the other vertically to form a cross.
- Spread a spoonful of ricotta mixture in the center, followed by a spoonful of meat sauce.
- Fold in the sides of the bottom piece, then the top piece, and place a slice of provolone on top to secure.
- Repeat with remaining ingredients. Lift each cheese slice, spritz with avocado oil, then return to the top.
- Sprinkle with dried parsley and bake for 20 minutes. Cut in half and serve warm. Enjoy!
