Shrimp Mango Salsa

This bright and refreshing salsa pairs sweet mango, tender shrimp, and zesty lemon with a kick of chili and fresh herbs. Served with crispy Atoria’s Family Bakery Traditional Pitas, it’s a vibrant appetizer that’s perfect for summer cookouts or casual snacking.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3-4 Atoria's Family Bakery Traditional Pitas
  • 1 pound shrimp, de-shelled
  • 2 large mangoes, diced
  • 1 medium red onion, diced
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 2 Serrano chilies, finely chopped
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 2 lemons (for lemon juice and zest)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cut Pitas into triangles. Coat with oil and air fry or bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Cook the shrimp in boiling water until opaque and pink, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a bowl, combine diced mango, red onion, tomato, Serrano chilies, cilantro, and lemon juice.
  4. Add chopped shrimp to the mango salsa and mix well.
  5. Serve with Pita chips and enjoy!
