INGREDIENTS
- 4 Atoria’s Family Bakery Traditional Pitas, torn into bite-size pieces
- 3 large eggs
- 1½ cups milk
- ⅓ cup sugar or maple syrup
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- Optional toppings: powdered sugar, berries, whipped cream
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly butter a baking dish.
- Add the torn Pita to the dish, spreading evenly.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, melted butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the mixture evenly over the Pita and gently press down to help it soak.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until puffed and lightly golden on top.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm. Add toppings if desired.
